Dropped out of school is not end of learning



Phiona was about nine when dropped out of school due to her family could not afford to send her , therefore it forced her joine a chess program run by the Sports Outreach Institute in Uganda, which taught her how to play chess.,  She was born 1993  and grew up in the Ugandan slum of Katwe.
In 2010 she played six rounds on board 2 and one round on board one for Uganda at the 39th chess OLympiada, because of her effort on learning  to play chess she was a three-time Women's Junior Champion of Uganda.
Result of her performances many games of Olympiada played, making her  to be  first titled female player in Ugandan chess history.  Also Mutesi played against Lutaaya Shafiq Holmes of  Makerere University  who she beat became the first female player to win the open category of the National Junior Chess Championship in Uganda.
 According to the World Chess Federation Mutesa is currently the 171,364 ranked players in the world.
Mutesa from Chess champion who competes internationally, now being turned into a Hollywood film actress.
Mutesa said like chess because it involves planning, and if you don’t plan, you will end up with a bad life. This is her motto
